To the Young & Old: Rejoice & Remember

This is the final sermon in Matt Miller's Ecclesiastes sermon series.

Solomon concludes the book by giving one last reflection on the greatest evil of all -- death. For Solomon, the brevity of life is the main motivator for why every person should pursue enjoyment of God's good gift of life. However, the conclusion of life, which is death, ushers in judgement. As a result, the judgment of our Creator is Solomon's main motivator for then making sure we pursue life well. In the end, Solomon's final word is that we ought to rejoice in life, but just remember that God will bring us to judgement for everything. Therefore, enjoy life, but enjoy it while fearing Him!
