God, Gladness, & Glory

Why does God do anything He does? This Psalm reveals the answer. It is a passionate Psalm in which God reveals His singular passion to glorify His name. His highest priority, and ultimate goal, is to gather worshipers from every nation of the earth to praise Him for His grace. He is passionate for the spread of His name, and His fame is the central reason He acts, moves, loves, or does anything He does. When we understand that God blesses us for the purpose of blessing others, but in order that they might, then, bless the name of God, He gets the glory, and we get the joy.
