Mary's Hymn

Mary goes to Elizabeth to receive confirmation of Gabriel's message that she will be the bearer of the Messiah. At the confirmation of Elizabeth's greeting, Mary immediately responds in a pouring forth of joy. She burst out with a hymn of praise, the content of which displays God's merciful, faithful character. God is her Savior, and she's overwhelmed by the reality that God's promise to set all things right is being fulfilled in her very womb.
