A Faithful Birth and Faithful Act
Jan 13, 2019 • Matt Miller
This passage displays the faithfulness of God in the birth of John. We see in the naming of John, that John has been set apart for the purposes of God. He is not to be a priest like his father, but a prophet. The faithful act of Zacharias to give his son the God-ordained name of John results in the loosing of his tongue. His immediate response is to praise God for His faithfulness to fulfill His own promises.
