Judgment Begins with The Church

The winds of change are now upon the early Church. It was just a short time ago where these young believers in Jesus the Messiah were enjoying favor with all the people. Now the first indications of coming suffering is at the doorway. The Church is numbering in the thousands and God uses a specific event centered around money and generosity to bring sobriety into the hearts of the believers. Judgment does not begin with the unbelieving world but Christ’s Church. But even in the shock of killing Ananias and Sapphira there is grace as God prepares the Church to suffer. And He does it by getting their priorities right.
