Pastors & Elders:
Matthew Henry is the senior pastor for Missio Dei (formerly Temple Baptist Church). Born in Denver, Colorado and raised most of his life in the West, he moved to Kenosha in 1997 to become the pastor. He is married to Kim and has four adult children. He was trained at The Master’s Seminary where he received a M.Div.
Matt loves to read and loves to think about building things—once the building process begins however chaos usually is the result. Teaching is his passion and watching people grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ is his joy.
Bruce Roeder is the associate pastor and oversees Community Groups and Offering Hope to the City. Bruce is a biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (formerly NANC). Bruce holds a Master’s Degree in biblical counseling from Master’s Divinity School and a B.A. in Communication\Management from Concordia University as well as an ABS from Moody Bible Institute.
Bruce is married to his wonderful wife Liz for 42 years. They reside in Kansasville, Wisconsin and have one married son, a sweet daughter-in-law and three precious grandchildren.
Jonathan Randle serves as an elder and is involved in various ministries. He made MDF his home in 2000 and has served actively since. He is an electrician by trade and has lived in Kenosha all his life. He and his wife, Esmeralda, are kept very busy by their four energetic young boys. His joy is in building relationships, encouraging others and seeing them grow by the grace of God.
Mike Reeves serves as an elder at Missio Dei Fellowship and has been a member for 14 years. He has been married to his wife, Gina, for 18 years and they are raising 5 wonderful children. Having lived in Kenosha for the last 12 years, Mike and his family have a heart for being missional within the community. In addition to serving at MDF, Mike loves playing golf, coaching his son’s baseball teams, and making his family laugh constantly.

Offering Hope to the City Volunteer Staff:
Laura Steele has been a member of Missio Dei Fellowship since 2013. She is married to her best friend, Matt Steele. They have six kids ranging from 18 down to 6 years old. Laura and Matt have been foster parents for almost ten years. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University with a minor in substance abuse prevention.
She is a certified biblical counselor through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and she is currently working on her Masters in Biblical Counseling through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Matt Steele has been a member of Missio Dei Fellowship since 2013. He and his wife, Laura, have been married since 1994 and they have six children: Grace, Patrick, Ethan, Quinton, Jay and Susanna. Matt holds a Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. He is a certified biblical counselor through Southwestern Seminary.
Matt and his family currently reside in Lake Villa, IL.
