Community Group Importance at Missio Dei Fellowship
The Elders and Community Group Leaders of Missio Dei Fellowship view Community Groups as one of our primary means of personal and corporate Gospel growth.

Community Group Vision
The Community Group ministry of Missio Dei Fellowship exists to promote gospel growth among the membership of Missio Dei Fellowship via a weekly meeting opportunity to participate in genuine Christian community.

Community Group Definition
A Christian small group is an intentional face-face gathering of 4 to 12 (adult and or teen) people on a regular time schedule with the common purpose of discovering and growing in Christ.

Community Group Weekly Opportunities

  1. The weekly meeting provides an opportunity for transparent gospel-centered relationships.
  2. The weekly meeting provides an opportunity for sharper discipleship as the pastor’s Sunday sermon is discussed and applied to life.
  3. The weekly meeting provides an opportunity for the Community Group leaders to assist the elders in shepherding the members of Missio Dei Fellowship.

Community Group Member Desires
A Community Group Member should have these desires:

  1. Have a genuine desire to be part of the group and “own the group” by attending and participating in group life to the best of one’s ability and time.
  2. Have a genuine desire to grow in the Lord and fight sin.
  3. Have a genuine desire to hear hard things from others and help others by saying hard things when necessary.

Community Group Leadership
Each community group at Missio Dei Fellowship is led by either two co-leaders or one leader plus an apprentice leader. They are accountable to the community group pastor and the Sr. Pastor and are hand picked by them.
